Image tools / practical guide
Crop an exact rectangle or a centered square and preview the result before download.
A practical starting example
Crop a defined rectangle
For an image at least 1200 × 900 pixels, a crop starting at left 100 and top 50 with width 800 and height 600 ends at x=900 and y=650. Both endpoints must fit the source. Keep labels and important product edges inside the selected rectangle.
Use this as a small trial before applying the operation to your real input. A sample illustrates the workflow; it does not promise a specific result for every source file or device.
How to use Image Cropper
- Prepare a copy of the input. Supported inputs: JPG, PNG, WebP.
- Choose the operation and review the controls below before running the sample.
- Run the tool, then inspect the new output before using it.
Prepare the input
Use the controls described in the application. Supported inputs: JPG, PNG, WebP.
Supported input and output scope: JPG, PNG, WebP
Review the available controls
Choose the centred square crop or a custom rectangle. In custom mode, set left, top, crop width and crop height; the entire rectangle must fit inside the image. Review output format and JPG background colour.
How to decide whether the result is useful
Custom crop coordinates use original image pixels. Left and top start at zero. For a mixed-size batch, use the centered-square preset.
- Compare the output with the unchanged source.
- Check the destination requirement before copying, downloading or uploading it.
- Open the downloaded file in the receiving application and check its actual type, size and contents.
- Use a second representative sample if the first does not cover the difficult part of your input.
Limitations and troubleshooting
A custom rectangle must fit each selected image. The tool reports invalid crops instead of silently changing them.
If the output does not match your intention
Return to the original copy, review the selected input and controls, and repeat with a smaller sample. If the embedded view is unavailable, use the direct tool link at the top of this page. Browser support and device memory can affect file-based workflows.
Questions about this tool
What should I check first?
Custom crop coordinates use original image pixels. Left and top start at zero. For a mixed-size batch, use the centered-square preset.
Can I use the tool from this guide?
The main button opens the working tool on its Tabaix subdomain. An optional embedded view may be added to this guide; the direct link remains available for larger screens, downloads or browser compatibility.
What should I keep before changing the input?
Keep an unchanged source and record any controls you chose. That gives you a comparison point and lets you repeat the task without replacing your original.
