When these tools are useful
- Preparing a small asset pack for a website, store or social profile.
- Checking colour contrast before text becomes hard to read.
- Making favicons and simple graphics the right size for their slot.
- Comparing design choices side by side before committing to one.
Judge every asset where it will actually appear: a favicon at 16 pixels, a banner on a phone, a logo on both light and dark backgrounds. Keep a master copy in an editable size and export copies for each destination instead of stretching one file everywhere. Contrast is not a style preference — text that cannot be read easily fails its only job.
