If you have ever stood in the Batha district trying to negotiate a bus to Makkah, or stared at your bathroom mirror wondering why the desalinated Saudi water is destroying your hair—you are in the exact right place.

Hi, I’m Tayyab Ali.

I am an expat, a tech enthusiast, and the founder of TABAIX.

Moving from Pakistan to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, completely changed my life. It is a land of incredible opportunity, but as any expat will tell you, surviving and thriving in the Kingdom comes with a massive learning curve. I built this platform to share the exact survival hacks, tech reviews, and travel secrets I wish I knew when I first landed.

What Does “TABAIX” Actually Mean?

If you are from Pakistan or India, you probably already guessed the secret behind the name.

In our local slang, the word “Tabahi” means something that is absolutely epic, mind-blowing, or disruptive. I took that energy and added the “X” factor to create TABAIX (Pronounced: Tah-Bay-Ex or Tabahi-X).

On a professional level, it is a custom acronym that represents exactly what I do: Tayyab Ali’s Business & Artificial Intelligence eXperience. It is the perfect bridge between my cultural roots and my passion for modern technology.

From the 50°C Heat to the Tech World

My journey in Saudi Arabia didn’t start in a comfortable, air-conditioned corporate office.

Before I dove into the digital world, I worked on the ground. Back in Pakistan, I learned the value of hard work as a shop assistant in a tractor spare parts store in Narowal City. When I moved to Riyadh, I worked as a construction apprentice in a family masonry business.

Laying bricks and working in the brutal 50°C (122°F) summer heat teaches you a lot about survival. It taught me why cheap electronics melt in parked cars, why finding the perfect insulated water bottle is a matter of health, and exactly how hard expats work for their monthly Riyals. I realized that my fellow expats were wasting their hard-earned money on products that simply do not survive the Middle Eastern climate.

I knew I needed to create a resource to fix that.

The Nerd Behind the Screen (My Tech Background)

While I know the reality of the streets, my true obsession is the digital world. I am an ENTP personality type—which means I am naturally wired to debate, tinker, and solve complex problems.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Business & Information Technology (BB&IT) from the Virtual University of Pakistan. When I am not writing guides for this blog, I am deep in the trenches of website development, SEO, and cybersecurity.

I don’t just write about tech; I build it. I recently developed my own custom WordPress plugin called the “Ultimate AI Master.” Whether I am figuring out how to bypass geographical network restrictions, or breaking down the chemistry of a supercapacitor dash cam, I do the heavy technical research so you don’t have to.

The Mission of TABAIX

My goal is simple: To make your life in Saudi Arabia easier, cheaper, and more comfortable. Whether you are a white-collar engineer in Olaya or a blue-collar worker in Sanaya, this site is built for you. Here, you will find brutally honest, tested advice on:

  • Apartment & Lifestyle Hacks: From stopping hard water hair loss to surviving the dry AC air.
  • Auto Survival: Recommending gear that actually survives the summer heat and protects your vehicle.
  • Travel & Umrah Realities: Unfiltered, step-by-step guides on navigating budget travel to Makkah and Madinah without getting scammed.

What is Next?

I am always pushing for the next big adventure. Currently, I am expanding my horizons in the aviation industry and applying for a Cabin Crew position with Riyadh Air.

I also document my life, travel, and tech tips through short-form video content. I create videos in Urdu and Punjabi, heavily utilizing English captions so everyone in the expat community can join the conversation.

If my guides have helped you save money, or if you just want to talk tech, I would love to connect with you!

Welcome to the Tabahi-X experience. Let’s make expat life epic.
